Work it! Chanel West Coast took to Instagram to spice up her followers’ feeds with a cute twerking video on Sunday, March 22. The 31-year-old can be seen getting down in her room for the #LookChallenge.
“She turn around and she [look] at it,” the brunette beauty captioned the sultry clip. Chanel looked like she was having a blast as she danced around in her room while rocking a pair of Levi jeans and a pink crop top.
Of course, fans took to the comment to praise the star and her dancing skills. “Acting up on the ‘gram during quarantine haha,” one user wrote. “You really got the moves,” another added. A third chimed in, writing, “You’re one of the most beautiful women on the planet and your music is good, too!”
“I’m a city girl it’s only right that I act up [winking emoji]. Shout-out to @iamdanileigh #LeviHighChallenge,” Chanel captioned the video, showing off her figure as she pulled up her form-fitting jeans.
Chanel marches to the beat of her own drummer and likes to keep things fun and light-hearted. Known for being a clapback queen, she doesn’t let the haters get her down, but uses their negativity as “fuel,” she told In Touch exclusively. “So, it’s like you think you’re doing a disservice to this person. You think you’re hurting their feelings, but there’s a reason why this person is in the position for you to be leaving a comment on their page.”
She continued, “It’s because they were the type of person that every time somebody did exactly what you’re doing, they progressed even more and worked harder.”
Chanel also admitted the Instagram trolls are not the first bullies she’s had to encounter. “That’s how I’ve been my whole life. I mean, since I was young, like when I first started telling kids in high school I’m going to be a rapper. You know how many of my friends laughed at me?” she said. “I always knew in my heart, I’m like, ‘I don’t think it matters when my skin color is like, I’ve never looked at anybody and judged them by their skin color.’ I was like, ‘Who cares? I’m gonna go for it.’ And every person along the way that laughed at me and poked at me and made it harder for me to accept my dreams — pushed me.”
